As a 501(c)4 non-profit, Cypress Families for Public Schools is formally governed by a board of directors, which includes a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Director, and Networking Director. An Executive Board meets regularly to strategize and organize CFPS actions and events through committees.
Our organization began as a Facebook group and we currently have over 400 followers. While following CFPS on social media does not necessarily imply support for our vision and mission, our volunteers organically communicate and organize via these platforms. Our volunteers come up with new ideas, show up with service, and speak up with passion for CFISD.
